The Virginia City Overland Stage has been featured in several magazine articles including American Cowboy, Trail Rider Magazine, and was voted best Stagecoach ride in the West in the 2004 "Best of the West" issue of True West magazine! They have also been mentioned in the New York Times newspaper and were on the History Channel program "Vigilantes!" The Overland Stagecoach has been running (recently) on the main street of Virginia City since 1999. They depart from the historic Virginia City stagecoach stop in front of the old Wells Fargo office which lends to their authenticity. They even travel down part of the original stagecoach road to the site of Virginia City's first gold discovery!
